City Centre Garage Stair Replacement Project
The Downtown Public Parking System (DPPS) is dedicated to a safe parking experience for all of our patrons. With the open exposure to years of wind, rain and snow, the City Centre Garage stairs on both the east (corner of Front and 8th streets) and west (corner of Front and 9th streets) sides are beginning to deteriorate. This summer, DPPS, along with GUHO Construction, replaced the east side stairs and railings with new updated materials.
Construction is expected to begin on the west side early October 2011. For your convenience, please park on the 8th street side of the garage and exit via the east tower. The sidewalk on the south side of Front Street will remain closed for through traffic during construction. Please use the north side sidewalk.
