Street Closures for 2010

Street closures will be noticed at least 12 hours in advance by signs posted along parking (east) side of the street. The signs, four to each block face, will note the date, time and the event. Vehicles left on the street after it is closed will be removed by Naylor's Towing to their impound yard, where they can be claimed upon payment of the impound fee. 8th Street from Bannock to Main will be closed Sunday April 11 from 8pm to 5am Monday for presure washing.

8th Street from Bannock to Idaho will be closed May 21st from 6am to 11pm for May in Motion and Boise Bike Week Block Party (see May calendar above for more information).

8th Street from Bannock to Idaho will be closed June 19th from 3pm to11pm for the Boise Commuinty Radio Soulstice Celebration (see June calendar above for more information).

8th Street from Bannock to Main and Idaho Street from Capitol to 9th will be closed Sunday June 20th from 6am - 5pm for the Father's Day Car Show (see June calendar above for more information).

8th Street from Idaho to Main will be closed Friday June 25th from 3pm-10pm for the Main Street Mile (see June calendar above for more information).

8th Street from Bannock to Main will be closed Friday July 10th from 4pm-11pm for the Capitol Cruze.

8th Street from Bannock to Main will be closed Sunday August 29th from noon -6pm for the Curb Cup.

8th Street from Bannock to Main will be closed every Saturday from 6am to 3pm between April 17th and December 18th for the Capital City Public Market.

8th Street from Bannock to Main will be closed every Thursday from 1:30pm to 9pm between June 6th and September 23th for the Capital City Public Evening Market.
