September 28, 2016

News & Notes

CCDC has issued a Request for Qualifications/Proposals (RFQ/P) for a workforce housing development downtown, it was announced today.  Titled “Ash Street Request for Workforce Housing Proposals,” the site is located on Ash Street, in the River Street Neighborhood, and is approximately 0.75 acres in size. The property is located in the agency’s River Myrtle URD, where CCDC has assisted with more than $400,000,000 in development in the past 40 months.

The RFQ/P response period closes on November 15, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. MST. The RFQ/P document and related materials can be found online at https://ccdcboise.com/development/rfps/ash-street-rfp/.

With this latest RFP, the agency continues its focus on catalyzing residential development in Downtown Boise.  Recent CCDC success stories, including The Afton and Watercooler projects, follow the agency’s influential 2015 Downtown Housing Study. CCDC is also a partner in many other downtown residential projects, including The Fowler, the 119 Condominiums, and the Idaho Street Townhomes.
