Parking Advisory Committee Recommendations

First Hour Free!
In all downtown garages,
the first hour of parking is free at all times. After that, parking
is $1.50 per hour, up to a maximum of $12 per day.
Event Parking
Certain parking facilities surrounding the Grove Plaza employ this practice 90 minutes before the start of any downtown event expecting 200+ vehicles. All customers pay a set fee upon entering the garage, may stay as long as they wish and exit unencumbered when ready to leave. For more information contact parkinginfo@ccdcboise.com or 368-7944.
Parking Alternative for Monthly Customers
For those monthly customers who find their designated facility is not open for
any reason, please feel free to use Capitol Terrace Garage at no
charge. Here's how: Enter the garage and pull a ticket (your magnetic
card won't work). When you leave, show your current monthly hang
tag to the cashier. You'll be asked to sign the ticket and you'll
be on your way!
Eighth Street Parking & Deliveries
CCDC owns and manages North Eighth Street between Main and Bannock streets. The
street serves as downtown's focal point, with boutique retail stores,
offices, restaurants and pubs in the immediate vicinity. Metered
parking, managed by Boise
City Parking Control, is available on the street's east side;
the west side is a fire lane only. Delivery parking for Eighth Street
businesses is available anytime in the alleyways and free at the
meters between 6 p.m. and 9 a.m. For more information on Eighth

Parking Citations and Fees Due
Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances, human error or negligence sometimes result in customers receiving a parking citation or Parking Fee Due notice. The former is issued when an infraction occurs, the latter when a customer has insufficient funds to pay for parking or the garage attendant goes off duty before the customer leaves. It is our practice to handle the situation promptly and clearly explain what the citation/fees due notice is being issued for.
